DAY- 1:

MORNING  LEAVE DHAKAFOR  BOGRA BY ROAD (4 HOURS DRIVE). UPONARRIVAL AT BOGRA TRANSFER TO HOTEL. LUNCH AT HOTEL. AFTER LUNCH VISIT SUMPURAVIHARA AT PAHARPUR ( WORLD HERITAGE SITE ). LATE AFTERNOON BACK BOGRA. EVENING VISIT NABAB PALACE.  DINNER AND OVERNIGHT AT HOTEL.

BOGRA:

 (227 KM from Dhaka by road is Bogra, the nervecentre of northern Bangladesh.Mahasthan Garh the earliest days of documented urban Bangla ( 3 century BC issituated 13 km North of Bogra town. It has been identified with ancient city ofPundranagar,familliar in Maurya, Gupta, Pala and Sena literary and other epigraphicrecords, Buddhist relic-the Vasu-Vihara mound, only 6 km west  of Mahastan Garh) .

PAHARPURlies at Rajshahi district, the relies of glorious past of Bengalunder the pala dynasty during the 8th century ad. Excavations at this historicsite exposed to the view the single largest buddhist monastery in the worldhaving a gigantic pyramidal temple with 177 monastic cells and

numerousmotive stupas. The 63 stone images and about 3,000 beautiful terra-cottaplaques depict many buddhist religious and other stories.

DAY- 2 :

MORNINGVISIT MAHASTHANGARH AND VASU VIHARA. EARLY LUNCH AT HOTEL. LEAVE BOGRA FOR DHAKA. ENROUTE VISIT OLD TERACOTTA TEMPLESAND OLD PALACEAT PUTIA VILLAGE. EVENING ARRIVAL DHAKA.
